Keep it or cancel
Cancel from your account page any time before the trial ends and you are not charged. Otherwise your plan continues at the price you chose.
Before you install
What you need
Windows: Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit.
Mac: macOS on Apple silicon (M1 or newer).
Around 500 MB of disk space.
Your computer will warn you once
The first time you open Edit Bay Studio, your computer will say it does not recognise it. That is expected, and it is worth knowing what it actually means: the warning is about a certificate we have not bought yet — not about anything found in the app. Microsoft and Apple each charge an annual fee to vouch for a publisher, and until we pay it, everything we release is treated as unrecognised. The steps below take a few seconds, and you only do them once.
If you see a blue box
Windows may show "Windows protected your PC". Click More info, then Run anyway, and the installer continues as normal.
If no box appears, nothing is wrong — it does not show on every machine.
Use the installer inside the disk image
Open the downloaded .dmg, then double-click
Install Edit Bay Studio inside it. That is all.
Please do not drag the app straight to Applications and open it — macOS will claim the app is damaged. It is not damaged; that message is simply what an unrecognised publisher looks like on a Mac. The included installer clears it for you.
